Ares AZS1206 RX won't bind with Hitec MINIMA

Open MRC3742 opened this issue 2 years ago • 1 comments

I have been trying to bind an older Ares AZS1206 RX out of a Gamma 370 park flyer airplane without success. It has the CC2500 RF chip and I believe it should be using the MINIMA subprotocol as listed in issue #161 I've tried to bind using positive and negative frequency tuning and also all the other CC2500 Protocols and Subprotocols.

The RX has a bind button that you press after power up and before turning on the TX. When power up RX has a slow flash, press bind button and now RX has a medium flash. Power on original ARES 6HPA TX and now RX changes to a fast flash for about 5 seconds then solid when bind completes.

I've done captures from the original TX and posted below for your review if it is just an ID issue or a different protocol? Captures TX-6HPA ARES Gamma 370.zip

Thanks - Rich

@pascallanger - I see that you have added the "New protocol" label yesterday and just wanted to post that I am still following and available to troubleshoot and test when you find the time.

Thanks - Rich
