How to reproduce

When i import Parts with a CSV file, it does not appear the field "Stock Level" to import. The import occurs without a problem but the stock level keeps in 0.

@jpi90 Were you able to solve this issue?

@jpi90 Can you verify this is still an issue on the demo page?

I think this issue is still there. I cannot find the stock level in the "Mapping" window (also not in demo page). I would expect to see the same as the last picture in this ticket, but it's simply missing: #883

Can you verify this on the latest git branch? There are some changes that did not make it yet to the demo page.

Thanks for fast response!

Do you mean I should install the latest version somewhere separately and try it out? I'm afraid I will not be able to do that, sorry...

The best I can do is give exact instructions on how to reproduce, and hope someone who has it installed can do it. It's super simple:

  1. press the import button
  2. Search in the "Mapping" part of the window after an entry called "partPartKeeprStockBundleE..."
  3. Note that it is missing

OK, I just tested this using the current development branch and the named option is not present.

I do not know if this is purely a frontend issue or has some more serious background. Anyways, I will remove the Will be closed soon! label to avoid unintended closing.

Found a work-around!! It seems if I click on any part, wait for the part details to show up, and then press the import button, all the options appear.

ulfwin avatar Mar 04 '20 13:03 ulfwin

Sadly the workaround didn't help.. I set the folder "partPartKeeprStockBundleEntityStockEntries" to "Create new item" and choose to copy contents from one of the csv columns at the "stockLevel" parameter, but all stock values stays at 0 after execution...

For me this sounds like a bug (that the folder is shown at all) plus a feature request (that it should be possible to import the stock entry). I'll add a tag for it.
