Error in going back into a record to add anything.

Hi,

If I create a new item, I get new issues with adding information into any of the fields. However, if I save the record and come back to it another time to edit (after i've sold / used a product) I get the following error.

Any help would be appreciated.

Dear dj30986 a)there is an online demo running of PartKeepr https://demo.partkeepr.org/ where people normally test the "normal" behavior of the program to compare against their installation. Did you check in the demo version to see if happens the same ?

b)could you put the screen capture of menu View / System information ?

c)another point (this is why I request if you can provide the capture of View / System) is that PartKeepr is "stuck" (for the moment) with an old version of PHP. If you did an installation with PHP newer than 7.1 problems will arrive. You can read the restriction for the installation at https://readthedocs.web.cern.ch/display/PARTK/Install+PartKeepr+on+Ubuntu+20.10 (even if specifically for Ubuntu has explanations to understand what is needed)
