V3 testnet - extreme performance issues on first launch and sync of SMSG, windows 10
Windows 10, particl desktop V3 testnet.
After launching the marketplace and syncing various markets, my computer started to slow down severely. The cursor started lagging, basically the whole PC started lagging. Not have had the issue since when i closed the app and the initial smsg sync was completed. Internal memory use, CPU and especially GPU use were spiking and didn't stop spiking before i closed the app. I'm working from a fairly fast, two year old laptop, no issues with any other apps or even high performance games.
On first opening of the application, particularly during the blockchain download and synchronization, Particl Desktop does tend to be heavier on system resources than typically expected. There is ongoing progress to try and reduce resource utilization. In saying that, the screenshot posted shows an excessive memory consumption, which is abnormal. Given that this was using a now older testnet client, would it be possible to try and replicate this using the newer RC005 testnet version? This latest testnet version should have some fixes and updates included that may have resolved this particular issue already.
Is this still an issue, or has it been reasonably resolved in the meanwhile?
