Remind me are the .json files output when the script in this pr is run? Also are you wanting to add the python file into develop or did you just open this pr for viewing. That file has a large hash I'm guessing will change anytime the image is updated.

"To be updated" I still think that we want this, but as it doesn't add any "feature" it didn't make it up to the top of the priority list for quite some time. Though most of the code in is PR is still valid and would only need to be adjusted to a small degree. Therefore, I'd like to keep it open.
