XBee block improvement
Just a placeholder for @MatzElectronics to make an improvement to the XBee block from my GPS project. I don't know what he has in mind, but this note will jog his memory :)
Explore the possibility of a block that sends configuration commands to the XBee - could either send as a dropdown, or be a value block that sends chars - have to see what's required.
@kgracey can we get a list of desired features here? I'll start:
- Baud rate setting (a small routine that tries at a bunch of different baud rates to make sure that it finds it, and then sets it to the desired value)
- Block that returns setting values, in addition to a block that sets them
Set Channel Set ID A fully-configurable block that does everything but replaces firmware set baud rate Ability to verify that the module received and acknowledged the request
