bug: keeps polling GPU even if it's disabled.
I am on a laptop with a dual GPU. nvidia-smi is being run every few seconds even if I am using integrated graphics only.
As the nvidia-smi then fails after a second or so of figuring out there's no GPU, this actually eats enough into the battery to show up in powertop.
Suggestion: if nvidia-smi fails, do not poll GPU stats for some long amount of time (10m, 1h, till reboot?)
