but encoder2.ourtube.co.uk and ourtube.co.uk are are different locations with different ips and different hosts. Nothing was changed on the domain when this issue started happening and has been working fine...

I dont get logged off if using the ip. so on ourtube.co.uk if i use the remote encoder2 ip instead of encoder2.ourtube.co.uk it doesnt log me out.
