Firefox Private Browsing

Describe the bug This is a meta-Issue: it should probably generate new, more-specific Issues as we look at it.

It seems that Firefox is doing "Private Browsing" by default now (have not confirmed this) and it also seems that Paperize cannot work in private browsing because Firefox shuts down access to IndexedDB in that case.

InvalidStateError: A mutation operation was attempted on a database that did not allow mutations.

Actually I'm not seeing the PDF preview at all in Firefox when I try this, and I don't think private browsing is on.

To Reproduce

  1. Just poke around with Firefox, it breaks readily for me.

Additional context Let's look at other browsers' private browsing modes as well!
