This could potentially be a part of PAWS, but we need a way to record hardware changes, e.g. when the cameras are manually focused.

I don't know if I am right. Taking the example of the focuser, we can store the value and compare after every defined interval. If there is any change in the values, we can log it. Any suggestions? @wtgee
