Request for 'update all'

Open hamiltont opened this issue 8 years ago • 5 comments

Using the 'refresh all' button on the library means not just subtitles, but poster images, desciptions, extras, other channels that do extra downloading, etc all get re-downloaded. Would be nice to have an individual sz menu item for 'redownload all subtitles'

Sounds great. Maybe even for big libraries sub zero will iterate it max. 300 movies per day to avoid bans.

Now you have to manually select all individuel items and refresh then.

Just in case you're not aware, you can use refresh all to down all subtitles currently - this issue is just about refining that a bit since refresh all is a pretty heavyweight operation

The point about max 300 is a really nice idea

Great idea.

This is a great idea and I hope it will be implemented soon! Refresh all is not a good solution for updating an entire library if all one needs are subtitles, particulary for those with large libraries.

As an aside (I'm not familiar with the abilities/limitations of a Plex channel), but a command line implementation of the software would be quite useful. Has that been considered at all? I'm not able to find anything about it in the issue queue.

Thanks for the great software!

This software is based on the subliminal library, which itself has a command line mode. Sub-Zero works directly with the PMS as a channel/plugin - a command line mode wouldn't execute in the PMS plugin workspace and thus essentially be just a subliminal clone.

For getting the advanced features into a command line, there'd be a ton of work to do.

Getting off topic, though. Please open another issue for that.
