ERROR: Couldn't get resource view

I am attempting to use the tool to generate a map from a pre-existing three-tone .bmp map file and twice now it has crashed with the console endlessly outputting: ERROR: Couldn't get resource view repeatedly until I close the program. This has occurred both when inputting the map, and in the cases where the initial input works, upon trying to generate climate.

I just did some testing and I'm very confident this error occurs when you try to click the ui tabs while a process is generating.
