@elissavetv if you are inclined you are welcome to through looks repos I’ve starred over the years to see if you think they belong here. Most likely my earliest stars are more climate related

Thanks for the response! Just to check, is the task to find some repos? What do I do after I find them? What are the criteria for the 'right' repos? I'm a beginner, so apologies for the questions!

There is no definition really. It's more 'things that may of interest'. You can put forward suggestions in either an issue or better yet make a pull request then the maintainer will get back to you.

For example I found this in my stars https://github.com/openradar/PyDDA

I think this is worthy in https://github.com/pangeo-data/awesome-open-climate-science#meteorology
