When using LaTeX, the following packages need to be available (they are included with all recent versions of `TeX Live`_): 
```amsfonts```_, ```amsmath```_, ```lm```_, ```unicode-math```_, ```ifxetex```_, ```ifluatex```_, ```listings```_ 
(if the ``--listings`` option is used), ```fancyvrb```_, ```longtable```_, ```booktabs```_, ```graphicx```_ (if the document contains images), 
```hyperref```_, ```xcolor```_, ```ulem```_, ```geometry```_ (with the ``geometry`` variable set), ```setspace```_ (with ``linestretch``), 
and ```babel```_ (with ``lang``). The use of ``xelatex`` or ``lualatex`` as the PDF engine requires ```fontspec```_. ``lualatex`` uses ```selnolig```_. 
``xelatex`` uses ```polyglossia```_ (with ``lang``), ```xecjk```_, and ```bidi```_ (with the ``dir`` variable set). 
If the ``mathspec`` variable is set, ``xelatex`` will use ```mathspec```_ instead of ```unicode-math```_. 
The ```upquote```_ and ```microtype```_ packages are used if available, and ```csquotes```_ will be used for `typography`_ 
if the ``csquotes`` variable or metadata field is set to a true value. 
The ```natbib```_, ```biblatex```_, ```bibtex```_, and ```biber```_ packages can optionally be used for `citation rendering`_. 
The following packages will be used to improve output quality if present, but pandoc does not require them to be present: ```upquote```_ 
(for straight quotes in verbatim environments), ```microtype```_ (for better spacing adjustments), ```parskip```_ (for better inter-paragraph spaces), 
```xurl```_ (for better line breaks in URLs), ```bookmark```_ (for better PDF bookmarks), and ```footnotehyper```_ or ```footnote```_ (to allow footnotes in tables).

下記のパッケージは、もし存在すれば出力の品質を高めるために利用されます。もしパッケージが存在しないならPandocは利用しません。
