How to customize the toolbar

Hi, I'm using Flask-MDEditor, which uses Editor.md internally, and I'd like to customize the toolbar to remove some functions I don't want to support. I've looked at the examples and it's not clear to me where/when/how to do what I'm thinking. Can someone help me out? Thanks, Doug
