Setting up PYLS

pyls is not working on my Ubuntu. With the command pyls -h I am getting the following result: usage: pyls [-h] [--tcp] [--host HOST] [--port PORT] [--check-parent-process] [--log-config LOG_CONFIG | --log-file LOG_FILE] [-v]

However, the command python -m pyls -h provides a different result with __ main __ instead of pyls on the first line: usage: __ main __.py [-h] [--tcp] [--host HOST] [--port PORT] [--check-parent-process] [--log-config LOG_CONFIG | --log-file LOG_FILE] [-v]

Does this have something to do with pyls not working on Atom's python-ide? How can I fix it? I am on the latest version of python python --version Python 3.9.4
