Wave Maxx Audio on this generic driver

In my device (Acer Nitro 7), this is the audio driver packaage provided by the OEM AN715 51 Audio Driver Whenever I install your Realtek-UAD-generic driver, the Wave maxx audio functionality gets broken, is it possible to retain that functionality somehow?

Most likely no. Though if you want to get your hands dirty it might be possible. Related to #72.

definitely no, pal1000.

if OP wants to keep waves maxxaudio enhancement on his acer laptop, that person should just stick to using vendor based audio drivers from Acer rather than using the UAD generic driver

edit - OP could try this 6.0.8971.1 UAD driver or this 6.0.8929.1 UAD driver from Acer since the listed audio driver version for the AN715-51 still remains at 8642 - seems that Acer provided newer UAD/maxxaudio drivers for certain AN515 (nitro 5) series only

You'll need to use your vendor's original hdxXX.inf to install as well as the effect extension and then manually replace the core driver with the one in the repo.

Alternatively, you can make and install your own certification and disable secureboot and then make your own driver sausage that retain the function and sign it with your cert ,and try use it.
