Install avahi on Synology

I am trying to get this plugin to work, but am struggling to get avahi installed.

I am running Homebridge on a Synology and I can't really figure out how to install avahi in that environment. Can anyone help?

By the way, when trying to install the plugin in Homebridge, I get this error:
