Thanks for providing this helpful tool, how could I open a file with this extension please?

Hi,

I have added this extension to my firefox. And when I add the path of my markdown file to the add line in the firefox like this: file:///home/coin/paper/notes/Loss.md, firefox only pop up a message box asking me where I would like to download this file into. How could I use this extension to open my markdown file please?
