Getting backend$: command not found when following the PyPagekite tutorial at https://github.com/pagekite/PyPagekite/tree/main/doc#21-running-the-back-end-using-pagekitenet

When I paste this command to Terminal:

backend$ pagekite.py \
  --defaults \
  --service_on=http:0.0.0.0.8000

I get: backend$: command not found
