Echoed Voice does not reset when throwing a pokeball

Couldn't find any research on if throwing a pokeball should reset the damage or not but according to gen 7 cart, it does. I assume this is a similar issue with other moves that grow progressively stronger like fury cutter

You as a player are using Echoed Voices and then using a pokeball?

Maybe we should try it in the newest pokemon games and see how it works there
