Sturdy does not work properly in double battles

If two pokemon attack a pokemon with Sturdy it will endure both hits

Can't seem to reproduce, testing with a set up of geodude with sturdy and 2 opposing swampert with surf, endures the first surf but dies to the second

There is a (related?) bug I found though, seems like geodude will endure the second swampert's attack if it survives the first's, which doesn't work as intended, perhaps this is what you are referring to?
