With all due respect, my proxy settings are correct. I forward my day-to-day environment's settings to the `docker` invocations and would notice right away if there's a problem with them....

This issue hasn't been closed, the docker-solr/docker-solr#24 issue has.

This is a very different issue (but probably introduced by the same Sphinx version :wink:). There's a fix for this in #51.

This can be fixed by applying #46 or #50

The `warn` argument to `format_date` was removed in [this Sphinx commit](https://github.com/sphinx-doc/sphinx/commit/85dcd7baa85a04abe2fd571085911cc027b1f7ea), first released with 1.6.1.

I've been hit by this as well and tried to figure out what broke in which sphinx versions. I've used the [Docker sphinx](https://gitlab.com/paddy-hack/sphinx) that I maintain for this and used...

With some real documentation, I also ran into #48, which is fixed in #51.

As for adding the `sphinxcontrib.versioning.sphinx_` extension in `conf.py`, while that may be an obvious(?) thing to do, I didn't and it is not in the documentation, yet :cry:. I'm off...
