Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe. I encounter the issue that when opening the app, that I end up somewhere lower in the timeline, seeing old posts and requiring me to scroll up to see the new ones.

Describe the solution you'd like A "back to top" button that shows whenever you are certain amount down in the timeline. When pressed would it move you to the top of the timeline.

Describe alternatives you've considered Manually scroll up.

From the top right "..." menu you can choose "Load newest posts".

There's also a lab experiment preference that makes that happen when you tap a tab.

Does that do what you need?

Well, I need to wait until I encounter this problem again, as it is somewhat random (I blame the instance not being as stable and maybe having problems delivering the data or smth), but I'll let you know if it actually helps.

Tho, for the record: The posts do load. It's just that I end up in a lower part of the timeline with older posts, requiring me to scroll up.

Okay, I had this issue again and the loading option seems to work.

Ah -- so Pachli is losing your place?

Do you have filters configured that hide posts? This might be https://github.com/pachli/pachli-android/issues/1062

There was a filter, which I can't even recall to have made... Deleted it now, as it was outdated anyway

@Andre601 - have you seen any more instances of this issue recently? If not I'll go ahead and close it.
