Low quality images for math instead of vector graphics.

There are several instances where the specification uses pictures for math instead of some sort of vector graphics. I have no concept of how easy this is to fix in the language used and thus whether it is potentially worthwhile. Ideally, this would be as simple as changing some setting, since the math is not represented as a picture in the code.
