Yeah... are we burdened forever with these files? Should we try to rewrite history and move them out.
You are burdened forever until you rewrite the history indeed. Rewriting the history for this repo would not be the end of the world given its purpose but a 300MB repo is also not the end of the world given how few people actually modify the website on a regular basis.
