I'd guess emulator settings changes does't save too ? make sure you installed Demul to location where it have write access.
have no good ideas then. this game save settings for me as it should.
as workaround you may use Demul.ini files, in one will be selected gdrCHD plugin and gdrImage in another. then make simple script which will copy one of these ini files...
looks like there is not enough sorting layers, try to increase "Max layers" to 64.
currently, on-the-fly VMU must be swapped in manual way - set some slot to NONE - set that slot to VMU again but with some other file
does the music plays well ? which ones exactly voices and sfx sounds wrong ?
it looks like you have performance problems. does emulator run at full speed ? (ie displayed "SPG" number is 60) what is your PC specs ? anyway, I cant reproduce...
right, PC power is more than enough. but NV drivers may do weird crap, make sure to create profile for Demul and set there "Use maximum performance" it also might...
strange, should be fine then. let me summarize - in Puyo Puyo 4 you hear no any music at all, only sound effects, and they are sounds "lower pitched"/stretched ?
it is hard (if possible) to implement within correct renderer and video RAM emulation. current renderer made it in the way real PoverVR2 works, i.e: - if 'start render' signal...
