Well even if we're not able to organise MLH, I think we should definitely try to organise atleast one hackathon. Maybe get in touch with various organisers from now itself.

This is something that is most important. We tried a lot to organise one but we neither got any support nor any funding from tech society. To be frank, programming has been marginalised even when it was the most active out of all. So I wish this doesn't repeat again.

We will try to follow a different approach. Instead of asking the college for funds we will try to get it from elsewhere. Lets see if it works out.

We can get grants from GitHub, so are we planning to organize one this year? @arijeetsat

A national-level hackathon both in software and hardware stream is planned in next semester. Regarding the budget requirement and collaborations, I will be discussing later, but yeah we will be having a hackathon this year.
