"Reveal file in navigation" reverts interface to default

Open PAGWatson opened this issue 1 year ago • 1 comments

Hello, I've been enjoying the file tree plugin. But I've found that if I have a note open and select "Reveal file in navigation" (from the menu that drops from the three dots on the right of the window), then the file explorer pane reverts to the Obsidian default, and the file tree view can only be made to reappear by deactivating and reactivating the plugin.

This is in the Obsidian 1.4.16 desktop program with file tree 2.4.2.

It sounds potentially related to the issues re "reveal active file" (e.g. https://github.com/ozntel/file-tree-alternative/issues/181), but I think that's a different function somewhere?

Had the same issue. Here is my workaround: Go to Settings -> Hotkeys. Search for File Tree Alternative: Reveal Active File. Then add a shortcut of your choice (CMD + R for me). If you now press the shortcut, it will reveal the file in the plugins' navigation tree.
