Well... there's no tests, besides the example code in the README (no 'test' target with the Makefile)

There's 5 open issues which are about 18 months old on average. No closed issues yet, including this one that should definitely have been closed: https://github.com/skullchap/chadstr/issues/6

However, it's got 5 contributors, 790 stars, and the last merge was done about 6 months ago.
