Is there a way to reduce oxrocksdb-sys debug build size?

Debug builds of oxrocksdb-sys (1.5GB) and liboxrocksdb_sys (760MB) are HUGE! a few build iterations/versions, and my small projects target/ dir grows to 20GB. It also takes long to compile.

Any remedy for that?
