Open anon59821 opened this issue 1 year ago • 3 comments

Is there an existing request for feature?

  • [X] I have searched the existing issues

What feature would you like?

  1. Some guy writes you "hey, you're John?"
  2. You answer "Yes, I am" or "No, I am not", thus, accepting the converstation
  3. User spams group invitations

Anything else?

No response

I think that it is planned to require confirmation in order to be added into a group.

There should be option to block user who initiated addition, and that would prevent any additions by that user in the future. Maybe one would want to verify the group content first and then remove/block inside a group.

With the redesign of groups/closed groups, which is now being worked on, all new groups you are invited to will appear in message requests instead of being auto-joined. Should prevent the spam issue, you can also turn off receiving message requests from open groups/communities, i would recommend blocking that user who inviting you to those disgusting groups
