Support for command line options
Currently the Session Desktop exevutable appears to support no command line options. In order to get the version of Session, the user has to launch the Session GUI.
Support for command line options may be good to add. To get an idea of the utility of supporting command line options, here are some example hypothetical options:
- Print help (typically
-hor--help) - Print version (typically
-Vor--version) - Verbose output (typically
-vor--verbose) - Suppress or reduce output (typically
-qor--quiet) - Start a fresh profile with a generated recovery phrase
- Start a fresh profile with a specified recovery phrase
- Specify the profile directory path (default:
$HOME/.config/Session) - Launch Session in offline mode
