Merkle Inclusion Proofs for LNS

Open KeeJef opened this issue 5 years ago • 1 comments

It would be nice for Service Nodes to be able to derive Merkle inclusion proofs for LNS transactions when returning mappings to Lokinet, Lokid and Session clients. This would allow clients that had synced a copy of the Loki blockchain headers to confirm a name was indeed in the blockchain and make it extremely hard to lie about mappings other than just omitting a response.

the basic idea can be found here under "simple payment verification" we should be able to do this quite simply
