Compact view

It would be nice to have an option for a more compact view for lists of articles. On an iPhone, not that many items fit on the screen at once.

Any chance you can provide a simple mockup of what you have in mind?

Sure. I think just removing the snippet of the item description would be good enough.

So, my feed currently looks like this:

Without the snippets it would look like this:

You might also adjust the thumbnail height and title font size down a bit for a compact mode?

The other thing to notice in the first picture is that even when there is no item description or thumbnail, the blocks are of constant height and are padded with lots of whitespace. Whether you want to keep it that way is a matter of taste, I guess. As long as there's a way to make everything smaller and fit more items on screen, I'm happy.
