Jukebox Control via Subsonic
There is jukebox control in the Subsonic API: http://www.subsonic.org/pages/api.jsp#jukeboxControl
would be neat to have it supported here, so one could control the playback (in the browser) from a subsonic client on the smartphone.
Do you know any Subsonic clients which would actually implement this feature? Having the server-side support is of little use if there are no clients.
at least in DSub there is a checkbox for that in the "Administration" pane.
I only have music as a subsonic server, so I cannot verify this, but according to https://github.com/ampache/ampache/issues/2934 the Jukebox mode is supported by DSub.
Okay thanks, I had already tested setting that "jukebox bit" on my server but I hadn't found the feature from the UI of DSub. But reading that linked ampache issue I found out that it can be found under the "casting" button. And indeed, there it is.
