Can't specify custom port for SFTP external archive
If you set in the configuration a hostname with ":" followed by custom port, in the error log appear that the system uses the default 22 port.
There is https://raw.githubusercontent.com/owncloud/core/refs/heads/master/.github/ISSUE_TEMPLATE/issue_template.md which is there for a reason (and usually shown when creating a new issue) and which you usually should fill out 😉
It's too long and complex to fill out for a so simple problem that I've found just for curiosity.
I'm using the latest owncloud release on Ubuntu server running Apache2 and in the log file I've seen :22 an not :990 as I've specified after hostname.
That's all.
But no problem, if you require all the form field filled, I prefer don't use the SFTP and you can close this issue.
I'm not part of the ownCloud team so i can't close anything 😉
But sure, filling out the whole template might be too much.
But in your case you even haven't provided the absolute minimal info like:
- What are you exactly doing where
- PHP version
- ownCloud version ("Latest" is not enough, i have seen users claiming they are running the "latest" version but had used 1-2 year old versions)
- The relevant log file entries
Without providing such info it is very unlikely that they will look into this.
Where: https://my.owncloud.host/index.php/settings/admin?sectionid=storage What: ADD STORAGE -> SFTP OwnCloud Version: 10.15.0 (stable) PHP version: 7.4.33 (On my server is installed also the 8.3 version, but OwnCloud isn't compatible with it and I've forced this version just for OwnCloud VirtualHost) Relevant LOG entry: "Message":"Cannot connect to ftp.my.host:22. Error 110. Connection timed out"
