Creating a group under OSX creates an entry under contacts

This is an issue with OSX contacts as a CalDAV-client, so i mention OSX contacts explicitly if meant so, otherwise i think of OC/NC contacts

Steps to reproduce

1. Open OSX contacts
2. Click on plus-sign of the OC/NC-addressbook in the sidebar and give it a name to create a new group 2.1 group is created, but with a generic name, like new group. Given name is ignored 2.2 rename group to a chosen name
3. Got to OC/NC web interface and find a named entry with the given group name, if skipped 2.2 there is an entry with the generic name from 2.1
4. Delete group in OSX contacts, adressbook entry will be deleted

Expected behaviour

Creating a group under OSX contacs should create a new group under OC/NC contacts

Actual behaviour

An addressbook entry is created, like person or company. No errors shown, none in logs.

Server configuration

Operating system: Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (up to date)

Web server: Apache 2.4.18-ubuntu3.1

Database: MariaDB 10.0.25-0

PHP version: 7.0.8

ownCloud version: (see ownCloud admin page) NC 9.0.50 (production)

Contacts version: (see ownCloud apps page) 1.3.1.0

Updated from an older ownCloud or fresh install: fresh install

Client configuration

Operating system: OSX 10.11.6

I have the same problem. Then when i open my iPhone, i create a new connection to Owncloud server CardDav, I can see the group working fine, but when i want to select only some groups to view, i can't deselect the Contact default group without the group created on OS X. It looks like they are tided.
