[Enhancement] Custom fields

The ability to create fully custom fields would be nice. So in additionj to static field labels, a user could create a new custom label name and designate what type of input they expected. such as date, text input, textarea or whatever. This field type would then be available for all contact creation/edit.

i understand that this adds work and maintenance but it would also make contacts useful for a much larger audience. It could be used as a lightweight crm, for instance.

This is a feature I would also like to see. But currently other stuff has higher priority. -> backlog for now

This would also allow to give fields from iPhone contacts better names.

I want this, too. I'm migrating off of another contact system where I've created additional fields (checkbox to send birthday card or not, share private or business phone number with this contact, etc.), and I'd like to be able to migrate those into NC's contacts.

@MartinConsultingServicesInc This is ownCloud ;) So if you want to migrate to nextCloud contacts you have to ask there anyway!
