Project: Maps with value annotations

This project is about extending maps in Grapher so that they can show numerical values.

Our choropleth maps can fill countries with colors defined by a color scale to give a quick sense of the distribution of values on a map. But while they are quick to parse, it is hard to get a sense of small differences from changes in color alone.

By adding the ability to print numeric values onto the map we hope to get the best of both worlds - a map that is fast to parse but that also provides the precise values so that nuances in the data are easily discoverable as well.
