Hi, I don't think that markdown is really supported. We do have some colors but it's most likely that it inherits some rules from another file type. screenshot from 2018-08-07 08-30-35

I just tried with ccat README.md file.

Is there any way we might help you with that synthax?

I'm using ccat v1.1.0
