Amass never quits

Amass never quits ,just hangs even though I set -timeout 10 , I use v3.19.3 ,how can I make it exit if it gets stuck for what ever the reason? This is my command: amass intel -timeout 10 -asn SomeASNNumber -whois -d domainname

I removed -whois flag, now it finds some domains but causes another 2 problems:

1. Never quits, keeps finding new domains, I want it to stop after 10 minutes but it does not stop.
2. My internet connection gets super slow , I can hardly use internet.
