Amass won't stop with CTRL+C

When I run Amass from the terminal, it's impossible to stop it with Ctrl+c. I need to manually find the process and kill it what makes it inconvenient. Is there a way to fix it? Thanks

Which operating system is this happening on?

I can repro this issue on an Ubuntu 18.04.LTS vps from DO. Can’t explain why, but it started manifesting recently. Ctrl-Z won’t even push it into the background so I can kill it from the same terminal.
