Provide a Detailed, Centralized Changelog for MKS Patch Versions, including Platform version (e.g., x.y.z-p)
As a MKS user (Free/Standard), I want to OVHcloud provide an official changelog listing updates for every complete platform version (including the -p suffix, e.g., 1.32.3-1), so that I can manually identify and plan the application of critical security patches (CVEs) for my managed components (Cilium, Canal, etc.) without waiting for general announcements.
Currently, information regarding critical patch and platform version updates (for example, the transition from 1.32.3-1 to 1.32.3-2) is not centralized. These platform version numbers (-p) are vital because they indicate changes, fixes, and updates to the components managed by OVHcloud, such as Canal, Cilium, or CoreDNS.
The lack of a single, easily accessible source complicates:
-
Security and Compliance: It is difficult to quickly verify if a platform update contains a critical security fix (CVE).
-
Planning: We cannot accurately assess the impact and safely plan manual cluster updates when the auto-upgrade feature is disabled for controlled rollouts.
Maybe also indicate if a specific patch release will redeploy the worker nodes? This has a different impact on customer workloads.
