User story

As a customer I want to commit on a duration while ordering a database service so that I get discounted prices.

Acceptance criteria

  • I can choose the commitment duration in months between 1, 6, 12, 24 and 36
  • I can automatically renew my commitment for the same amount of time
  • I cannot change the of flavor on which I commit. Not the type (general purpose, compute optimized or memory optimized) and neither the ressources (ex: DB3-8 to DB3-16)
  • Public documentation is updated about capabilities and limitations

The feature have a dependency on leveraging Generation 3 of instances (B3, C3 and R3) #456.

Rough ETA would be around first half of 2025 (to be refined).
