Database MongoDB sharded cluster

As an architect of fast growing analytical application I would like to scale our database not only vertically but also horizontally. Therefore we need to setup sharding cluster were I can define number of shard replicas.

AC:

  • MongoDB is deployed in sharding mode with number of defined shards by user
  • Each shard may have defined replicast members
