2.2.15_mta_localhost: netstat not installed, cannot execute check <--- Isn't it depricated?

As far as I know, the net-tools package, which includes the netstat utility, is considered deprecated in favor of more modern tools like iproute2 (ss, ip, etc.). Why does Debian-CIS expect me to install it?
