"Adaptive Layout" switch is not visible on macOS

MacBook Pro 16 2019, macOS Ventura 13.1, Telegram Desktop v9.3.241552

Adaptive Layout switch is missing in the Appearance tab of the app's settings. I do not have an ability to move all the messages to the left and change the chat screen layout whatsoever. This option is present on Telegram Desktop (Windows 10) and I do not break my neck reading chats, while on macOS having a big screen with a big resolution is a pain.
