I hope one day Budgie, Trinity and Enlightenment Desktop Environment become more popular, they are the only ones smaller that use just a few mb of ram. I can't accept it is 2022 and there are desktop environments using almost a fucking whole GB of ram.

Yeah, you know. I don't think it's a very bad thing. Hardware standards are evolving and I think it's okay for software to use a little more resources than in 2010....

But I do love simplicity and saving resources... Who doesn't? :)

it is just very vanilla kde plasma with a nice wallpaper and color scheme stolen from old manjaro :)

i also agree that plasma does not require 260mb of ram for nothing (plasmashell's memory usage), but it is still much better than other desktops
