Well for the version you reported, Cryptomator [already used Segoe UI](https://github.com/cryptomator/cryptomator/blob/1.4.0/main/ui/src/main/resources/css/win_theme.css#L13). If that doesn't work, it might be an upstream bug.

Can you please check your log for warnings saying "Vault on readonly filesystem."? This is the only logical explanation if you didn't manually check readonly mode. [See relevant code here](https://github.com/cryptomator/cryptofs/blob/1.8.6/src/main/java/org/cryptomator/cryptofs/ReadonlyFlag.java).
